Allestree are run by a one of Burton Albion academy coaches and it shows in their football. Critchlow was on form today only a couple in the first have and a couple in the second got past. The balls were being shot at him in every corner of the goal but Critchlow got to most. Hambleton did exactly what was asked of him ‘make your tackles and stop them playing football’. He did not stop running from when he got on the pitch to when he went off, great work! Grocott is getting stronger week in and week out, playing defence and out from the back Grocott scored a couple of stunners from out on the left wing, their goalie did not even see them coming. Wood was passing some smart balls from the back up field and following his pass to receive the ball back to find the net a couple of times in the first half and in the second he found some space to hit the net another couple of times. Weston was up and down the length of the pitch today, he put in a shift which helped keep Allestree’s score line down. Weston got a deuce today and one of those was a screamer from shot distance, no one was stopping that! Our very on fox in the box, Pegg was on form, sneaking a couple past their goalie. Pegg was back disrupting their game and making his runs forward when we were in possession. Another great game with some fantastic passing, movement, on and off the ball!
