Allenton have a very well structured team and play strong, top quality football. We recognised them from the last time and we knew who their better players were. Apologies to Critchlow on my shout of goal for the opposition, if I had not spoken up Critchlow would have kept a clean sheet. I have been told it wasn’t a goal but it showed the lads are great sportsmen to let it stand without complaint. Critchlow made great saves today with his eye on the ball the whole game. Plant was solid in defence, his first touch is great, which puts him in position to go forward or make the pass, no one was getting past him today! Grocott is a very direct player when he is not helping out at the back, his passing today was pin point and when he is pushing forward, he is not put off by anyone in front of him and this helped him find the back of the net. Pegg was getting back and making his tackles today when needed and was in position up field to, he worked hard today and was rewarded with a goal! Wood caused trouble in the centre of the park today, making some crunching tackles winning the ball and finding the net three times. Weston did a lot of running getting back and he was pressing hard high up the pitch putting a lot of pressure on their defence, by doing this he created three smashing goals! The team played fantastic football today as a team and made it look easy!
Come on the LEOPARDS!!!
