The team faced some tough opposition but battled hard in the initial group phases and after a strong start were unlucky to narrowly miss out on a place in the cup and as a result instead progressed into the shield phase of the Tournament.

Undeterred, Panthers came back fighting, winning every single group game after that and then confidently winning the final. It was great to see the players come away from the day with another medal round their necks and smiles on their faces - every single player put in hard work both defensively and in attack.

The coaches are extremely proud of how much the team has developed in the last 12 months and how they have taken so quickly to the 9v9 format and style of play. It’s been a great summer of football for the team to enjoy and surprisingly have managed to avoid the worse weather. Thanks as well to all the friends and families that have sacrificed their weekends and always provided such great support from the sideline to the whole squad!

Time now for a short break for players (and coaches) to recharge ahead of what looks to be a really promising and exciting season ahead.
